About the role

Atelier Pendhapa is seeking a talented Drafter to join our growing team in Central Java. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in translating architectural concepts and designs into precise, detailed technical drawings. As a Drafter, you will be instrumental in supporting our design and architectural teams, ensuring that all drawings meet industry standards and project specifications. This position is essential to our design process, bridging the gap between conceptual design and construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed architectural and technical drawings using CAD software and traditional drafting methods
2. Convert architectural sketches, designs and specifications into accurate working drawings
3. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards and regulations
4. Collaborate closely with architects and senior designers to clarify design intent and technical requirements
5. Maintain and update drawing files, ensuring version control and organisation
6. Produce construction documents including floor plans, elevations, sections and detail drawings
7. Incorporate revisions and amendments to drawings in response to feedback from project teams and clients
8. Assist in the preparation of technical specifications and drawing schedules
9. Conduct quality checks to verify accuracy and completeness of all drafted documents

What we're looking for

1. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Rhino or similar architectural design tools)
2. Strong knowledge of architectural drafting standards, building codes and construction practices
3. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, precise drawings
4. Solid understanding of architectural design principles and spatial relationships
5. Experience in producing construction documentation and technical drawings
6. Ability to interpret and work from architectural designs, sketches and specifications
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects and design teams
8. Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
9. Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Architectural Drafting or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
10. Familiarity with Indonesian building regulations and local architectural practices is highly desirable
