SEO Specialist (Remote Contract)

At Red Ant Technology, your work will directly impact the growth of two ambitious brands: Leaf CRM (www.leafcrm.com) and Red Ant Technology SB (www.redant.my) , an established software development company serving clients across Asia.

This is not a maintenance SEO role. You'll have the opportunity to shape the SEO strategy, influence content direction, work closely with developers to improve technical SEO, and drive measurable business results through organic search.

The company is based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This is a remote contract role. The candidate is required to follow Malaysia’s public holiday schedule.

## Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and website traffic.
- Perform keyword research and identify new content opportunities.
- Create content briefs and work with writers to produce high-quality, search-optimised content.
- Optimise website pages, metadata, internal linking, and site structure.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Monitor website performance, rankings, and organic traffic trends.
- Analyse competitors and identify opportunities to gain market share.
- Track and report SEO performance using analytics and SEO tools.
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and SEO best practices.

## Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or a related role.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Proven SEO experience with a portfolio of websites, content, or campaigns that demonstrate measurable results.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools.
- Good understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, and link-building strategies.
- Experience in analysing SEO performance and preparing reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

## Nice to Have

- Experience in the software and technology industry.
- Experience in marketing software development services, SaaS products, CRM systems, AI solutions, or enterprise software.
- Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Experience with conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and lead generation.
