About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Scholarship Advisor / Counselor to provide one-on-one guidance for the children of one of our American executives who will be entering university this year.
The main goal of this role is to mentor and guide the students in identifying, preparing, and applying for international scholarship opportunities — ensuring they’re well-supported throughout the process.
You’ll be working remotely, conducting regular mentoring sessions, and collaborating with both the students and their parents to track progress and development.
Provide end-to-end guidance for students on scholarship identification, preparation, and application.
Research and recommend suitable scholarship programs aligned with each student’s interests and academic goals.
Assist in crafting personal statements, essays, and other supporting documents.
Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to improve confidence and presentation skills.
Plan and conduct regular mentoring sessions (minimum twice a week).
Communicate progress updates and learning milestones to parents.
Maintain a structured timeline to ensure all scholarship requirements and deadlines are met.
Offer academic and personal guidance to motivate students throughout the journey.
Stay up to date with global education trends and scholarship opportunities.
Kualifikasi
Proven experience as a Scholarship Advisor, Education Consultant, or University Counselor.
Strong understanding of international scholarship systems and application processes.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Comfortable working with high-profile families and maintaining confidentiality.
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple students.
Ability to motivate and guide students in both academic and personal development.
[Preferred] Experience mentoring high school or early university students.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
