What you’ll be doing

We’re looking for a React Native Engineer for a full-time, remote position. You’ll be working with a remote team and contributing to the development and maintenance of a cross-platform mobile application.

You’ll be expected to communicate clearly in English, collaborate with team members across different functions, and take ownership of your tasks from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Building and maintaining React Native apps for iOS and Android
Translating design specs into pixel-perfect, responsive UIs with smooth performance
Connecting to APIs, managing app state (e.g., Redux, Zustand), and handling complex flows
Proactively debugging issues, suggesting UX or performance improvements
Participating in sprint planning, standups, and async discussions
Collaborating across disciplines — product, backend, design — with clear English communication

3+ years working with React Native in a production environment
Experience building mobile apps with and without Expo (React Native CLI)
Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, mobile UI/UX best practices, and performance optimization
Comfortable using native tools like Xcode and Android Studio for debugging and deployment
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within remote teams
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
Familiarity with Agile development and iterative product cycles
Bonus points for:

Experience with Reanimated, animation-heavy UI, or custom gesture work
Familiarity with testing frameworks like Detox, Appium, or Cypress
Exposure to CI/CD, Crashlytics, or other performance monitoring tools
Background in native iOS/Android development
Successfully launched apps on the App Store or Play Store
