Newcastle Indonesia is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Freelance Online English Teachers to join our team. We provide high-quality English learning programs for adult learners, from university students to professionals, delivered through online platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Teach English to adult learners (18+) in small online groups

- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive online lessons using Newcastle-developed courseware and digital teaching tools.

- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning goals.

- Maintain professionalism in online teaching environments.

- Collaborate with the academic team when required and contribute ideas for improving online learning delivery.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in English, Education, or related fields).

- Strong English proficiency (minimum C1 level, both spoken and written).

- Previous teaching experience (offline or online) is an advantage, but fresh graduates with strong English skills are welcome to apply.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; friendly, approachable, and proactive.

- Professional, punctual, and reliable.

- Computer literate, with a stable internet connection and familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

- Based in Indonesia (East Jakarta or surrounding areas preferred, but not mandatory for online teaching).

Working Hours (Local Teachers):

We offer both full-time (8 hours) and part-time (4 hours) freelance opportunities with flexible shifts, including:

1. 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM

2. 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

3. 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
