Digital Content Writer Remote WFH

Villa Finder is looking for a Digital Content Writer with exceptional writing skills! We’re a leading villa distribution company based in Singapore and Bali. Our portfolio of handpicked villas includes over 4,000 properties in Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean. Our concierge team are experts at making our guests’ dreams come true, arranging private yoga classes, finding experienced babysitters, booking restaurant reservations, and crafting special occasions.

Our Marketing team is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Digital Content Writer.

This is a full-time remote role, reporting to the Head of Marketing in Singapore. Your main responsibility will be to own and execute the creation of Villa Finder’s blog content, driving customers and loyalty.

The Role

• Content Strategy and Management

• Drive our content strategy using data from your research
• Write a number of articles per month based on keyword research that will increase our organic traffic (with AI assistance)
• Find royalty-free images or seek written permission from businesses to use images for the articles
• Assist in designing content marketing strategies and initiatives to achieve business targets, including traffic, engagement, acquisition, and customer retention
• Scheduling blogs and formatting for our pages (Wordpress)
• Have a working understanding of content categorisation, content development, distribution, and measurement
• Ensure the content created is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone
• Edit, optimise and publish content according to the marketing calendar

SEO

• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, internal linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords and increase organic traffic growth
• Understand and recommend SEO best practices to the team on which content and approaches work best for Villa Finder purposes
• Add internal links to articles as needed

About You

• 4+ years of experience as a writer/blogger, a background in travel writing would be ideal
• Strong hands-on experience with organic search platforms such Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, etc
• Working knowledge of search engine optimisation algorithms, best practices or have a good understanding of the basics
• Understanding of web publishing requirements on Wordpress
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English (ideally, your first language is English)
• Data-driven mindset and critical thinking
• Able to work and perform the job with minimal supervision
• Flexible and adaptable
• Must be based within the South East Asian region
